High tea
How trendy High Tea may be, it officially comes from the Victorian era. It started as a light refreshment between lunch and dinner, but very quickly the High Tea became a cozy but “serious” matter. In the conservatory or in the ‘drawing room’ the hostess poured tea and served small snacks, quiches and Pies.
